Wal-Mart to expand at University Parkway in Sarasota, Florida.

Heritage Development announced that Wal-Mart has agreed to expand it's current operation in Sarasota, Florida to a Super Center. University Parkway currently owned and operated by Heritage Development is a 116,000 square foot Shopping Center with a current Wal-Mart store of 115,000 square fee.

Wal-Mart will expand to 175,000 square feet and the current shopping center will be resized to just under 85,000 square feet. In addition, Walgreen's Pharmacy will move from in line to an out parcel and Heritage will build a brand new 14,500 square foot store. Construction should start in early 2008.
